Recently, my twins graduated from college with their bachelor's degrees—one in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science, the other in Biomedical Engineering. Watching them enter the workforce has been bittersweet. The entry-level job market today just doesn't have the same hustle, bustle, and open doors that we experienced decades ago.
As a mother, it makes me protective. But as the founder of Skeptics.AI, it has forced me into some deep, uncomfortable introspection.
With our platform, we are automating manual SOX and internal audit workflows—compressing days of documentation into under 30 minutes.
A heavy question kept me up at night: Am I contributing to the problem? Am I taking away the very entry-level stepping stones that the next generation needs to build a career in this profession? Am I being selfish?
Then I remembered what those "stepping stones" actually looked like.
